OK, it looks a little like a ?you know what?, but it is quite a bit different. For starters, it supports WMA files as well as MP3 and is recognised as a portable USB mass storage device. This means that this 5GB HDD player can connect to your PC or Mac (without the use of drivers* check specifications) and you can drag and drop your music files or other data with ease, and without the need to use a predefined software environment. This connection is via USB 2.0 making it fast as well as a flexible multi-OS compatible device.
The HD200 also features an FM tuner, Mic for voice recording and a line input for direct MP3 encoding. The USB connection and line input are hidden and protected from dust and dirt on the bottom of the HD200, where you will also find the power input for attaching the AC charger.
The extra large screen has 6 lines and an icon driven, easy to use main menu system. Navigation is performed by a scroll wheel on the right hand side and a handy back button. The volume controls are on the top of the player and handling the device is a dream. If you would rather keep the HD200 in your pocket out of site, there is an optional stick remote, giving you track navigation and volume control.
