The ORC-300 is the latest exciting offering from Oracom and still features all that we have come to expect from this manufacturer. Fundamentally the same product as the ORC-200, but housed in a new rectangular design with some extra features.
At a first glance the ORC-300 simply looks fantastic. The now signature design feature from Oracom in the metal loop at one end gives the player a sturdy look and feel, yet it manages to maintain a smooth and stylish finish. The ORC-300 is small enough to fit in that little pocket in your jeans that you never use, and with the HOLD button you don?t have to worry about tracks skipping or the unit switching on or off inconveniently.
The ORC-300 can be used as a portable mass storage device though you will need an extension cable to plug it into your USB port. Rather than the use the 3 feet long cable to plug into front mounted ports, the ORC-300 comes with a handy little adapter that avoids the snarl of cables on your desktop. The hosts of new features includes a tiny joystick which controls forward, reverse, volume, play, stop and is also the on/off switch for the device. An integrated FM radio and mic for voice recording completes the package.
